IT Infrastructure Specialist (m / f / d)

Your Role The IT Infrastructure Specialist works within the IT department. IT at KuehneNagel is a fundamental asset for the business, supporting a wide range of activities and services. They are responsible for supporting business operations to ensure continuity, fostering ongoing IT infrastructure innovation, and digital transformation. They also contribute to help desk activities, maintain IT infrastructure, and support the delivery of high-quality IT services with a focus on security. Your Responsibilities Security : Assist in monitoring daily IT KPIs and contribute to IT security measures. Report any risks related to hardware or software that could compromise system operations. Stay updated by consulting corporate IT security policies. Technical Features : Monitor control tools and ensure the proper functioning of all Italian servers, databases, and network components. Check daily execution of backup procedures. Archive and maintain IT documentation on the team’s wiki. Manage radiofrequency equipment (RF guns, vehicle-mounted devices, printers). User Support : Collaborate with help desk support for all Italian sites and offices. Assist in maintaining local hardware across Italian sites. Support requirements gathering for new sites, warehouses, and business needs. Process Improvement : Contribute ideas and proposals for improving IT infrastructure. Your Skills and Experience Familiarity with hardware devices. Experience with major office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). Experience in server administration (configuration, management, maintenance). Knowledge of network management (infrastructure management). Effective collaboration, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Intermediate proficiency in English.
