IBM WebSphere MQ Administrator: For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced IBM WebSphere MQ Administrator for a long contract based in Amsterdam. Its paying well and my client can interview asap! Key Responsibilities: Build, verify, and deploy software components across environments Upgrade and enhance existing software and configurations Troubleshoot and debug application and infrastructure-level issues Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere MQ infrastructure Monitor system performance and ensure high availability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct messaging flows Configure and administer both Linux and Windows (Wintel) environments Create and manage file transfers Construct and decommission MQ flows Support and contribute to migration projects Maintain operational documentation and runbooks Implement CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile practices in system development and maintenance Drive performance tuning and security configurations Assist and mentor junior team members Essential Skills: Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ Series Proficiency in Linux and Wintel system administration Strong understanding of message flows , file transfers , and integration patterns Experience in configuring and managing secure, enterprise-grade solutions Hands-on with Azure Cloud Platform (preferred) Familiarity with CI/CD tools , DevOps practices , and Agile/Scrum methodology Proficient in scripting and/or programming relevant to integration tasks Experience with troubleshooting techniques : thread dumps, memory issues, logs analysis Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Analytical and self-driven, with strong problem-solving aptitude If this is you, then please do not delay in applying!
