Position: Microsoft Purview Azure Consultant Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid) Duration: 6 months contract Essential Skills: 3 years of experience developing and deploying solutions with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage. Strong understanding of data governance principles, including metadata management, data cataloging, lineage tracking, and compliance frameworks. Experience with data integration, ETL pipelines, and data modeling to structure and organize enterprise-wide data. Knowledge of security and compliance standards, ensuring data governance solutions meet industry regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment. Strong communication and documentation skills, enabling collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Skills: Microsoft Azure certifications related to data governance, cloud security, or data engineering. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to support reporting and analytics. Knowledge of regulatory standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or SOX, and their impact on data governance.
