Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Local Contract 3x12s 1 Day Shift Opening 1 Night Shift Opening Work every other weekend Must Haves ACLS – American Heart Association (If they don’t have they can get) BLS Certification – American Heart Association 2 years’ experience Acute Bedside: Medsurg, Stepdown, Telemetry, PACU, ICU, etc. Comfortable with Traches Vents Drips The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. As an RN with Insight Global, you will ensure adherence to the nursing care plan by prioritizing patient care, enhancing the quality of life within your community, fostering innovation, delivering high-quality care, and upholding ethical standards. This nurse will be on average doing a 5:1 patient ratio. Day to Day: Manage nursing assessment on all patients within admission Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments. Maintain timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems. Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry. Accurately transcribe and process medical orders. Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events. Promote continuous quality improvement. Provide instruction and counseling to patients and their families.
