What we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer with a strong background in the XDR Unified Portal and Microsoft Sentinel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and security solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, security best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and end clients who are based in North, Central and South America. What a Transition Engineer is responsible for: Design and Implement Security Solutions: Architect and deploy security solutions using the XDR Unified Portal and Microsoft Sentinel to protect cloud infrastructure and applications. Analyze Security Events: Analyze security alerts, volumes and fidelity rates with the view to optimize volumes and consumption costs according to client and managed services objectives. Automation and Orchestration: Develop and maintain automation scripts, logic apps and playbooks within Microsoft Sentinel to streamline client security operations. Security & Platform Assessments: Perform security assessments and audits of the Azure environment to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, policy and recommend remediation actions. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions and adherence to best practices. Reporting and Documentation: Generate detailed reports & create dashboards on security incidents, threat analysis, and mitigation efforts. Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, policies, and procedures. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure security services, XDR Unified Portal, and Microsoft Sentinel. Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and certifications. Skills and requirements that would make you a good fit: Be capable of assessing Assess clients existing security controls and configuration, making recommendations and remediating issues. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Applying those skills to solve complex customer challenges Strong oral (phone) and written (email) communication skills. Be able to explain matters effectively and can articulate technical solutions to a non-technical audience Be able to implement according to Trustwave standards with a keen eye and attention to detail Champion for customer satisfaction and overall project success. Essential education and technical experience: AZ-900/AZ-500 minimum. SC-100 Highly Desirable Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as an Azure Engineer, Consultant or similar role. Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security. Hands-on experience with the XDR Unified Portal and Microsoft Sentinel. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer) Demonstrated experience with implementing best practice Security Architecture & Design and industry frameworks such as MITRE Nice to have skills (working knowledge of): TCP/IP Networking Configuration & Troubleshooting Unix / Linux Operating System Configuration & Troubleshooting Rest API Technologies (CURL, Json) Trustwave is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.
