Clinical Research Finance Intern

Job Description

Description This role is responsible for managing financial and administrative activities related to clinical research projects. This role includes invoicing, collections, payments to investigators and vendors, and tracking payment schedules with sponsors. Key Responsibilities Manage invoicing processes for clinical research studies. Oversee collections from sponsors and ensure timely payments. Process and monitor payments to investigators, vendors, and other research collaborators. Track payment schedules outlined in contracts with sponsors and escalate delays as needed. Ensure proper reconciliation of income and expenses within accounting systems Process financial requests, including vendor payments and purchase requisitions. Collaborate with the corporate accounting team to ensure accurate financial records. Maintain up-to-date financial and administrative records for each clinical study. General Knowledge/Competencies Analytical skills with strong attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills required both in English and Spanish Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. (only students) Experience 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or administrative roles preferred Experience in invoicing, collections, and financial reconciliations preferred Preferred experience in clinical research, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry is a plus Please add your resume when apply.
