With offices in California and operations nationwide, it sells more than 20,000 tons of top-quality fruit annually. The role: To build long-term business relationships with each client by understanding their business and identifying options that maximize their profitability / To negotiate directly with end clients to ensure 100% sell-through of the fruit, while preserving and strengthening the business relationship. / To provide technical information—such as pricing, market conditions, and regulations—to educate and inform clients throughout the sales process. Profile: Ability to quickly learn the technical and commercial aspects of the avocado industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills: outgoing, able to build rapport and develop new relationships from scratch Solid numerical skills to negotiate volumes and margins, and to clearly explain terms to clients Highly organized: able to manage and track multiple orders throughout the import/export process, from loading to final delivery Visa B1/B2. Willing to travel to the U.S. occasionally Compensation: Independent contractor based in Mexico Base hourly rate in USD % profit-based fee Weekly payments One of the most competitive compensation annual packages in the Produce industry
