Senior Project Manager Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects? Zenon Build Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead our most significant and challenging projects in Vancouver, BC. This is a pivotal role where you will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities As our Senior Project Manager, you will: Lead Project Lifecycle: Oversee all aspects of large-scale residential, commercial, and modular construction projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring successful delivery. Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams, including internal staff, sub-contractors, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations effectively. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and fiscal responsibility. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success. Contract Management: Administer and manage all project contracts, including sub-contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Quality & Safety: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control and safety programs on all project sites, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company standards. Problem Solving: Navigate complex project challenges with strong problem-solving skills, finding innovative solutions to keep projects on track. Reporting: Provide regular, detailed project updates and reports to our Field Operations Manager What You'll Bring: Required Competencies & Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience in the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on residential, commercial projects. Education: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver complex construction projects on schedule and within budget. Leadership: Exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills. Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and present effectively to diverse audiences. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry best practices. Software Proficiency: Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and other relevant construction management tools. Problem Solver: Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
