Credit Control/Sales Ledger Manager - Derry/ Londonderry Full-time | Permanent | Office-based | £dependent on experience | REED Exclusive Reed Finance are delighted to have been exclusively appointed to recruit for a Credit Control/Sales Ledger Manager to join a fast-growing and exciting business. Reporting to the Financial Director, the successful Credit Control Manager will work closely with the accounts team and assist in smooth-running of the credit control and sales ledger function of the company. Roles and responsibilities: Lead and oversee the credit control team. Enhance the efficiency of the credit control processes. Collaborate with management to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Monitor and pursue retention payments and evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients. Prepare and submit payment applications and invoices. Resolve billing disputes, complaints, and discrepancies, addressing escalated issues within specified timeframes. Support VAT return processes and provide reports to the Finance Director. Manage credit control activities, including client communication via phone and email to ensure timely payments, and maintain strong client relationships. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in the construction and manufacturing sectors (desirable). Minimum of 3 years in a similar role. Proficiency in invoicing using accounting software. Ability to manage high volumes of invoices efficiently and effectively. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
