Job Title: Production Team Manager Location: Wetherby, Leeds, Knaresborough corridor, easy access Pay Range: £35k - £40k Target range Contract Type: Permanent Client: FMCG Manufacturer An opportunity for an experienced and motivated Shift Production Team Manager, working Dayshifts Our client is a category leader in FMCG manufacturing. Their manufacturing facility is currently experiencing sustained expansion and business growth. To remain at the forefront of a highly competitive marketplace, an immediate opportunity has arisen for a proven production professional to manage a production area, on dayshift. Key Responsibilities – Production Team Manager - Dayshift The Dayshift Production Team Manager will oversee all operations across the department starting with safety then optimise quality, line efficiency and delivery Lead a team of technical operators via your direct reports of Production Leaders Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, undertaking a diverse role responsible for controlling the movement of all raw materials through to finished goods in the factory. You will be responsible for both the day-to-day management of technical and production professionals in your area, via your established management team Co-ordinating and driving development projects which will lead towards performance improvements, cost reduction and greater competitiveness Qualifications & Requirements –Production Team Manager - Dayshift Ideally with a considerable understanding of all areas of factory operations. Process, manufacturing, and packaging backgrounds considered You will also possess FMCG, Process or fast-paced manufacturing industry experience, with factory knowledge and understanding of the key drivers within an FMCG or manufacturing and packaging factory You will be truly inspirational in your approach and management of people Have a proven record in driving improvements A driven and can-do attitude Knowledge of lean tools would be awesome!
