As part of its strategic expansion into the European market, our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Tobacco Key Account Director. This position will play a crucial role in developing and managing relationships with key tobacco clients in France or Switzerland. KAM Director - Tobacco Industry - (m/f/d) Our client is a leading global flavor & fragrance company with a strong reputation for innovation and quality Description Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key tobacco industry clients in France or Switzerland. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Design and implement effective sales strategies to expand our market presence in the tobacco sector. Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to penetrate key accounts. Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the tobacco industry. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to guide product development and marketing strategies. Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, marketing, and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Coordinate with production teams to ensure alignment with customer specifications and deadlines. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Profile Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 5 years of experience in key account management or business development in the tobacco industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong understanding of the tobacco industry, including regulations and market dynamics in Europe. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel within the designated country as needed. Proficiency in the local language of the designated country and English. Familiarity with the local market and cultural nuances of the designated country. Ability to work independently and remotely, as the company does not have a local office in the designated country.
