Contract Duration: 6–9 Months Location: Remote (Must support at least 4 hours overlap with EST) Employment Type: Contract We're on the hunt for 4–6 seasoned Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Consultants to join a high-impact initiative focused on two mission-critical projects: OTM On-Prem Upgrade across three environments to version 6.5.3, targeted for completion by year-end Enhancement Development for our Epes General Commodity business model This is a hybrid technical-functional role requiring deep OTM expertise across upgrades, enhancements, and infrastructure/database support. Key Responsibilities: Lead the full lifecycle upgrade of OTM to version 6.5.3 across three environments Design, develop, and implement new OTM functionalities aligned with business needs Execute end-to-end testing for customizations, enhancements, and upgrade-related changes Tune and maintain database objects, stored procedures, and SQL queries for performance Partner with infrastructure teams to manage server, database, and middleware layers Troubleshoot technical and functional issues post-upgrade Deliver clear documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams ✅ What You Bring: 7 years of OTM hands-on experience, including at least 2 full upgrade lifecycles Experience with OTM version 6.5.x upgrades or similar major transitions Deep technical and functional knowledge of OTM architecture, workflows, and integrations Proven skills in Oracle DB administration: schema updates, backups, performance tuning Familiarity with infrastructure and middleware elements tied to OTM environments Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedure optimization Experience in performance testing and capacity planning for OTM Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams Background in transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries preferred Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment If you're a proactive OTM expert ready to contribute to critical projects— apply today and be part of something impactful!
