Stock Controller

Educational Qualification : Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent. A diploma or certification in inventory or supply chain management is advantageous. Experience : 1-3 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role, ideally within part sales or a related industry. Familiarity with automotive or machinery parts is a plus if specific to the part sales sector. Skills : Strong computer literacy, especially in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Syspro) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Good numerical and analytical skills to manage stock levels accurately. Knowledge : Basic understanding of inventory and supply chain principles. Knowledge of warehouse management, stock rotation, and quality control practices. Personal Attributes : Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments. Additional Requirements : A valid drivers license Knowledge of safety and handling standards, especially if dealing with specialized or heavy machinery parts.
