Lead Electrical Engineer

This is a pivotal role where you will not only drive the electrical design and delivery of cutting-edge data centre and industrial projects but also lead, mentor, and grow a dynamic team of engineers. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the South Africa Electrical Engineering team, managing resources, recruitment, performance, and career development. · Oversee and manage all electrical engineering aspects of data centre & industry design projects. · Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to design engineers. · Collaborate with our global teams (NL, GER, UK, etc.) and support local projects. · Manage project documentation, calculations, and specifications (ACC, Revit, Dialux, ETAP). Requirements: · Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering. · ECSA Professional Registration: PrEng (15 years experience) or PrTech (20 years experience). · Demonstrable experience in electrical design/installation within a consulting environment, specifically Data Centre & Industry building design, construction oversight, and commissioning. · Strong understanding of industry practices and client operations. · Proven leadership and people management capabilities. · Exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
