Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Oakville, Ontario. In this role, you will handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure accuracy in managing payments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and proficiency in SAP systems.Responsibilities:- Process and reconcile a high volume of vendor invoices with precision and efficiency.- Address and resolve invoice-related discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.- Manage coding and data entry for invoices while adhering to company policies.- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure accurate handling of bill of materials and multi-line items.- Utilize SAP, including S/4HANA and Vendor Invoice Management, to streamline accounts payable processes.- Maintain and update master data records to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and invoice queries.- Provide support in account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.- Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.- Assist in other accounts payable duties as required in a manufacturing or assembly environment.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.- Proficiency in SAP systems, including S/4HANA and Vendor Invoice Management.- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.- Experience working with bill of materials and multi-line invoice items.- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and resolve issues.- Familiarity with master data management and manufacturing or assembly environments is an asset.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
