Senior Azure Solution Architect with expertise in Data Integration & API Services to lead the design and implementation of API-enabled data solutions

Our public client is looking for an experienced Senior Azure Solution Architect with expertise in Data Integration & API Services to lead the design and implementation of scalable, API-enabled data solutions within a modern Azure-based data ecosystem . This position will play a key role in architecting and developing end-to-end data solutions, APIs, and data platforms to support enterprise-wide data access, reporting, and analytics. 1 year contract, 3 days a week onsite This position requires deep technical knowledge of Azure Data Factory , Azure Databricks , Azure Data Lake Storage , and Azure Functions , as well as a solid background in business intelligence and data engineering best practices . Must Have: 8 years of overall IT experience with 4 years in Azure-focused data architecture roles. Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory , Azure Data Lake , Azure Synapse Analytics , and Azure Functions . Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs in a cloud-based data environment. Strong knowledge of Azure API Management and security best practices (OAuth2, RBAC, managed identities). Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes , data warehousing, and BI tools (Power BI, SSAS, etc.). Proficiency in Data Modeling , SQL , and working with structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, Parquet) . Familiarity with data governance frameworks , data security , and compliance best practices . Experience in project management using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Proven track record of building and optimizing scalable, maintainable, and secure data platforms in Azure. Nice to Have: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Databricks or Snowflake certifications Apply
