We’re Hiring: GSE Mechanics – Permanent Role | Schiphol Airport, Netherlands | €50,000/year Overtime Are you a skilled mechanic with experience working on HGVs, buses, trucks, or plant machinery? We’re partnering with a leading international Ground Support Equipment (GSE) provider who is expanding operations at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) and seeking permanent GSE Mechanics to join their growing team. ️ The Role: Maintenance and repair of diesel-powered GSE (e.g. baggage tractors, belt loaders, aircraft steps) ⚙️ Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Servicing electric GSE and airside transport vehicles Reading technical drawings and electrical schematics Performing scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and onsite fault-finding What’s on Offer: Gross salary of €50,000/year Approx. €3,850/month net , depending on tax situation Overtime available (OTE up to €65,000) Permanent full-time contract ⏱️ 40-hour work week Relocation support may be available within the EU Career development opportunities with a global GSE leader ✅ Ideal Candidate Background: Strong mechanical experience in HGVs, buses, or plant machinery Solid understanding of hydraulic systems Basic electrical and diagnostics knowledge ✈️ GSE or airport equipment experience is a plus , but not required Must be able to pass airside security clearance Requirements: Mechanical or automotive engineering qualifications Valid EU driving licence EU passport or full EU right to work is essential Based near Amsterdam or willing to relocate ⏳ Immediate or short-notice availability preferred Start Date: ASAP ‍ Interview Process: 2-stage (Teams or onsite) If you're ready to bring your skills to a fast-paced, dynamic environment at Schiphol Airport, we’d love to hear from you.
