JOB PURPOSE We are looking for a Test Center Engineer to join our Product & Solutions department at the Schoeller Allibert site in Hardenberg. In this role, you will support product development, material validation, and quality assurance across our full product portfolio within a highly independent and quality-driven environment. YOUR JOB You will responsible for the following: Supporting the translation of the Design Brief of New Product Development projects (NPD) into a Quality Assurance Plan; process driven by Project Manager and Designer Testing all new products from the complete Schoeller Allibert Group in the corporate Test Center (TC) in Hardenberg according to the Quality Assurance Plan; producing Test Documents; analyzing test results with Project Team when requested; communicating results Releasing the NPD products according to agreed test specifications in order to secure quality standards and performance criteria of the products by executing the tests described in the QA-plan; producing Product Release documents; communicating results; having the documents signed by the responsible stakeholders Releasing existing products with new Materials in; process driven by Materials Innovation in order to get a wider base of material suppliers for Operations; producing Material Release document; analyzing test results with Stakeholders when requested; communicating results Executing Benchmark tests, analyze results together with stakeholders; process driven by Account Managers or Project Manager; producing Benchmark reports; communicating results Advising Designers / Project Manager about test methods which must be included into the Quality Assurance Plans for NPD Executing investigative work regarding customer complaints and claims; analyzing test results with Stakeholders when requested; communicating results Advise KAM, Business development Managers & Customer Service Team about test related issues, also with external test and certification institutes Archiving all documents in a proper Test Center administration with document traceability and revision administration Your daily tasks will include: Efficient, accurate execution of the tests according agreed QAP or product release program Ensure high quality product release reports and other test reports Ensure efficient, accurate benchmark tests and maintain reports Efficient, accurate storing test data in order to create/maintain a central data archive Ensure critical view on Quality within the NPD department via tests and advice within NPD projects. The quality of the advice is important. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You will definitely have; Technical education : A background in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field. Testing experience in a professional Test Center within an international company : Experience working in a structured, international testing environment, ideally supporting R&D or Quality Assurance. Experience in structured reporting : Skilled in producing clear, traceable, and formalized documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Quality assurance and quality control minded : A mindset focused on standards, compliance, and reliability in testing procedures and reporting. Basic skills and knowledge of Injection Moulding and Plastics : Familiarity with polymers, material behaviors, and basic manufacturing processes. High level of personal initiative and commitment : Proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-through; ownership of testing assignments from start to finish. Flexible and able to work under high time pressure : Able to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy even in fast-paced project environments. Language skill: Proficient in written and spoken English and Dutch. German would be nice to have to ensure effective communication within international teams.
