The Role As an HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted advisor to local managers and leadership. You play a pivotal role in translating and implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes that drive business performance. With a hands-on and approachable style, you maintain a strong presence on the floor, staying close to daily operations. This enables you to understand the local context, engage effectively with teams, and support a culture of development, collaboration, and success. Your responsibilities include: Advising and coaching managers on HR matters including performance, absence, and development Accompany and support employees throughout their career path at Gate Gourmet, fostering growth and engagement Identifying HR trends and supporting continuous improvement of HR processes Supporting organizational change and cultural development initiatives Ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and collective labor agreements Leading and participating in projects on topics like sustainable employability and employer branding Collaborating with the central HR team and other sites across the region Absence/ case management What you bring: At least 5 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or in a similar role Experience in a production, logistics, hospitality or catering environment is essential Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law, Wet Verbetering Poortwachter and experience working with collective labor agreements Strong advisory and stakeholder management skills with a practical mindset Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on support Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written What we offer: Central work location at Schiphol- Noord A salary based on your experience and skills 32-40 hours per week 8% vacation allowance STIP bonus (Max 10%) 25 vacation days 5 management days Travel allowance based on € 0,21 per km.
