The post holder will assist at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) and the Waste Transfer Station (WTS) in Brodick ensuring that the customer dispose of their waste safely and correctly. The ideal candidate will have worked in a manual handling role before, have awareness of working in a live traffic environment and may have some experience operating plant. Some awareness of the waste industry would be helpful, but full training will be provided to the successful applicant. The hours of work are fixed at 0730-1600 M-F and 0700-1200 on Saturdays. This equates to 42.5hrs per week (37 at normal time, the remainder paid as overtime).
