Who You Are You are a competent, experienced, dynamic, and proactive individual with a substantial track record in managing large-scale Fire contracts or similar areas within construction or property. You possess expert knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and associated statutory compliance regulations. With strong personal and interpersonal skills, you can lead and motivate teams, work under pressure, and engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders, while managing priorities and meeting strict deadlines. You are also adaptable, self-assured, and committed to continuous improvement and excellence. What the Job Involves As the Compliance Manager (Fire Lead), you will oversee and manage a program of Fire compliance to ensure full adherence to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. You will act as the main point of contact for Fire compliance matters across Worcestershire County Council's Corporate and Maintained School premises. Responsibilities include conducting Fire risk assessments, coordinating compliance activities, managing contractors and service providers, and preparing financial and performance reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs and managing a comprehensive database of asset data and risk information. Skills Substantial experience in Fire contract management Expert knowledge of RRFO 2005 and statutory compliance Leadership and motivational abilities Pragmatic problem-solving skills Strong negotiation and influencing skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage budgets and resources Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
