Inventory Specialist

Job Description Job Title: Material Handler – Warehouse Location: Florence, SC Duration: 3 Months Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Warehouse team. This role is responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout the facility, ensuring accurate inventory and timely movement of goods. Key duties include cycle counting, receiving and shipping, updating inventory records in the MRP system, and maintaining organized bin locations. Key Responsibilities: Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Put away received materials in appropriate bin locations. Move materials safely and efficiently across various factory departments. Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing slips. Ship outgoing materials according to company and customer requirements. Update bin locations and inventory data in the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system. Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and according to procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse area. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely availability of materials. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
