TASI Turin is seeking a Project Manager to work in Torino within the DESI Operation Unit. The candidate will operate within the directorate of program managers for LEO and/or first Lunar elements during the operational phase, coordinating the full project team and interfacing with Agencies and Customers. Strong communication skills, decision-making ability, assertiveness, and an innovative approach to problem-solving are essential. The candidate should be team-oriented, attentive to schedules and financial aspects (revenues and cash flow), and proactive in building new work opportunities with customers based on trust and reliability. With at least 5 years of experience in manned systems and human spaceflight, the Project Manager will engage in all aspects of project management lifecycle activities. The role involves managing complex, high-profile projects within the LEO programs directorate. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects, with expertise in risk identification and management to oversee space commercial programs and develop effective business strategies. Proven ability to develop and implement detailed project plans, monitor project performance, ensure timely deliverables, coordinate resources, and identify critical issues is required. Leadership and operational management skills are also essential to support strategic execution. Key duties Coordinate the project team across all aspects to ensure effective teamwork. Manage customer interfaces, building trust and communication. Oversee the project budget, including cost and schedule control. Manage project actions as decided in Monthly Program Reviews. Support resource adequacy requests and manage intra-domain work and resource mobility. Manage program resources according to the approved commercial scenario. Handle bid changes and stakeholder management, including cross-domain coordination. Lead the project team during crises to develop recovery plans. Control CBB/EAC and cash flow in coordination with Finance. Manage Risks & Opportunities. Prepare Monthly Progress Reports with the core team and communicate with customers as needed. Prepare the internal company monthly dashboard jointly with CFO. Skills, experience, and qualifications required Project management expertise, with relevant certifications preferred. Decision-making ability. Ability to establish work plans and staffing for each project phase. Ensuring project requirements and objectives are met. Experience in new product development. Good understanding of financial parameters. Fluent in English.
