Country Head of Sales – Italy About the Role: Are you a seasoned sales leader ready to drive growth in a dynamic and expanding global company? Our client, the world’s second-largest manufacturer of Ductile Iron piping, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Country Head of Sales to spearhead our operations in Germany. The Ideal Candidate: Experience: 10 years in the water/utilities industry, with a strong background in sales. Proven experience in B2B project sales, particularly with government and municipal clients. Deep knowledge of piping systems, especially Ductile Iron or alternatives. Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering revenue growth. Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, EN, BIS) and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: University degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a national sales strategy to meet revenue targets. Expand market presence by onboarding distributors, dealers, and direct clients. Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, municipalities, and contractors. Negotiate high-value contracts and manage key accounts. Lead and motivate the sales team, setting KPIs and performance goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with R&D and production teams to enhance product offerings. Ensure compliance with industry standards and provide regular performance reports.
