Job Description
Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist with any tasks associated with the purchasing and planning of materials and assist in tracking costs and materials for our projects. Tasks: Maintain a system of ordering materials, supplies, and equipment; Track project payment applications, material deliveries, change orders; Process returns and credits, coordinates material pickup if applicable; Contractor and Vendor invoice problem resolution; Confirmation of order quantity, pricing, and availability; Create purchase orders and ensure accuracy of orders; Create new vendor accounting profiles; Communicate orders to vendors; Coordinate proof of delivery/pick tickets; Assist with standardization compliance of routing guidelines; Create reports as needed for specific projects; Track project specific costs; Manage insurance policies and related issues; Manage company car fleet and related issues; Manage KYC documentation. Job practicalities / Skills and qualifications: Project based purchasing/project management skills; Exceptional communication and presentation skills, verbal and written; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to be proactive, take initiative, handle multiple responsibilities, and ensure follow-through; Ability to create and maintain positive interpersonal relationships; Degree in Economics or related is preferred.
