John Zink is part of Koch Engineered Solutions, owned by Koch Industries, the largest privately held company in the U.S. Our commercial team focuses on bidding large systems (flares, thermal oxidizers, vapor control systems, flare gas recovery systems) for the oil & gas industry. We are seeking an experienced and contribution-driven Proposal Manager who will primarily interact with international EPC contractors in a challenging, international, and multidisciplinary environment. What You Will Do Analyze customer inquiries and develop strategies to secure orders. Lead assigned resources to ensure the competitiveness of proposed solutions. Manage customer proposals and project cost sheets. Participate with the commercial team in bidding activities until order award. Manage turnover with execution support during the initial project stages to maximize profit. Travel internationally for customer meetings at their offices. Develop and maintain customer relationships, especially with international EPC companies, both technically and commercially. Maintain knowledge of the product. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering. Fluency in English. Previous experience in a similar or related position. Customer-focused with an entrepreneurial attitude. Interest in learning and accepting changes positively. Flexible to travel worldwide. What Will Put You Ahead Experience in Oil & Gas with EPC customers. Additional languages (Italian, French, Arabic).
