About the job The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer contributes to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. The role involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Prior experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial. Responsibilities Innovative Solutions: Contribute to groundbreaking projects using agile methodologies and new technologies. Scalability: Ensure backend responsiveness and real-time performance as the platform grows. Security: Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data. Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets, modular architecture, complex platform and API development, quick learning, and security awareness are essential. Nice to have High-Availability Concepts: Experience with system reliability practices. Additional Skills: Knowledge of Go, Rust, C++, message queues like Redis, caches, job queues.
