Responsible for assigned categories and the development of category strategies and programs to optimize costs, rationalize the supply base, and bring value to the Corporation while mitigating risk. Includes coordinating and leading strategic activities supporting Direct and/or Indirect spend. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Management of procurement for their categories globally. Lead negotiations of procured materials and services to ensure optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation). Develop and implement strategies to ensure the lowest overall cost while mitigating risk to the Corporation. Develop and document in-depth knowledge of markets, supply chain, and suppliers. Assist with make vs. buy decisions. Conduct formal presentations and coordinate supplier reviews. Participate in planning and forecasting to establish standard costs and explain price variances at the Division level. Support high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing the needs of Divisional projects and providing Purchasing guidance and leadership. Lead cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. CANDIDATE PROFILE Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain with relevant business experience. Minimum of 4 years project management experience, including participation in large or cross-functional projects, with a focus on process improvement. At least 3 years managing, leading, and developing dynamic teams. Proficiency in English and Italian is required. Proven success in major cost-saving initiatives; supervision experience is required. Thorough industry knowledge for assigned categories, including technical awareness and company-specific knowledge. Strong systems capabilities to enhance supplier performance and leverage negotiations. Ability to assess and analyze moderately complex business opportunities. Ability to manage diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities.
