Junior Software Engineer - Avionic / Ground Segment

Our client is a company focused on engineering services and has tasked us with recruiting a Junior Software Engineer for a permanent position. The engineer will support the Aerospace and High-Tech Business Unit, specifically within the Ground Segment area. The person will be involved with two types of ground stations — mission planning, and maintenance and logistics — gaining familiarity with avionics concepts and various software architectures (e.g., desktop client-server distributions, plug-in software, online web clients, offline web clients, cross-platform mobile). Technical skills required : Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; 1-2 years of experience in software development (C++ or C#); Experience in the aerospace sector is appreciated but not mandatory. The candidate will also learn to use WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and web / mobile technologies integrated with lightweight devices such as tablets or smart glasses. Work location : Varese Work type : Hybrid, on-site presence for the first 6 months. Contract type : Permanent employment, salary range €27,000-€30,000 RAL, with €7 meal vouchers.
