Supplier Sourcing Specialist

Operations Do you like an analytical approach to work? Do you enjoy working with different stakeholders on a daily basis? For our subsidiary in Genoa, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to expand the team. You will manage procurement processes, supplier relations, and purchasing activities to ensure efficient operations, cost-effective solutions, and on-time delivery of goods. Your challenge will be Negotiate and evaluate the best purchasing conditions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize company rates. Track the progress of supplier relationships through the implementation of databases and dashboards to facilitate data and KPI analysis. Streamline agreements with suppliers and stakeholders. Ensure internal sharing and enhancement of supplier proposals. Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams. Who you are You have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. You have previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry. You have strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish favorable terms with vendors. You have a good knowledge of procurement software, tools, and vendor management systems.
