Logistics Manager

Qualification Relevant Qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Requirements At least 7-10 years experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Moving mining equipment / capital equipment would be beneficial. Experience in the Project Management field would be beneficial. Duties Interacting with local and international suppliers on cargo readiness. Confirm shipping terms and obtain costs for the move. Dealing with Freight Forwarders, Fumigation Suppliers, Transporters, Crating Suppliers, Warehouse Put in place Service Level agreements for all newly appointed service providers. Ensure Custom Tariffs / HS codes are correct and maintained. Ensure correct Shipping Terms are used. Ensure transport compliance mainly on abnormal loads. Ensuring all SARS Customs and Excise Rules and Regulations are followed at all times and staying up to date with all relevant changes.
