Job Description

A renowned player in the process automation and instrumentation space is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to focus specifically on mining industry clients in KwaZulu-Natal . This is a remote-based position suited to a skilled individual with strong technical foundations in process control and instrumentation , paired with the grit to drive business in the rugged terrain of mining. Non-Negotiable Requirements: BTech Degree or equivalent in Instrumentation, Process Control, or a relevant field Based in KwaZulu-Natal with the ability to travel across the region as needed Minimum 3 years technical sales experience within the process or instrumentation environment Proven track record selling to or working with the mining industry Valid drivers license and own vehicle Able to work independently, manage a pipeline, and close high-value technical deals Job Experience & Skills Required: Sell advanced instrumentation and control solutions to mining clients, including flow, pressure, temperature, and analytical systems Conduct technical site visits, application assessments, and client consultations Present product solutions that improve process safety, efficiency, and reliability Work closely with Plant Engineers, Project Managers, and procurement teams Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the mining supply chain Collaborate with technical teams and the head office for solution design and implementation Stay up to date with regulatory standards and emerging trends in mining instrumentation For more engineering jobs, please visit:
