Product Design Manager, Internal Tools At DoorDash, our customers are central to our product strategy, and we believe that delivering the best customer experience is key to our success. Our robust suite of internal tools supports this experience, including onboarding merchants, managing customer and merchant issues, and tracking A/B tests to inform product decisions. We are seeking an experienced design leader in São Paulo, Brazil, to build and lead our internal tools team. This role offers the opportunity to define the team's vision, culture, and processes, and to solve significant design challenges that impact thousands of internal employees and agents. The team will collaborate closely with our Customer Experience & Integrity team, as well as engineering teams in São Paulo. You will report to the Head of Customer Experience and Integrity Design within our Design Foundations team in the Product Design organization. This is an onsite role based in our São Paulo office. Responsibilities include: Managing, developing, and hiring a team of exceptional designers Promoting customer-centric thinking across the organization Partnering with cross-functional teams to define the vision for internal tools Building a holistic design strategy for our suite of products Mentoring designers and supporting their career development Fostering a positive team culture and morale Establishing effective operating models Aligning team priorities with strategic goals Qualifications and qualities we value: 7 years of relevant product design experience, with prior management of at least 3 designers Proven impact through significant contributions to company-wide initiatives Intermediate to full proficiency in English Experience designing modern, user-friendly tools A track record of redefining product possibilities and executing innovative solutions Ability to articulate and visualize a clear design strategy Experience in executive communication and managing relationships with senior leaders Skill in creating clarity in complex, ambiguous situations Experience building and leading effective teams Ability to work in our São Paulo office About DoorDash DoorDash empowers local economies through innovative logistics and technology.
