HR Generalist

Position: HR Generalist Location: Downtown Toronto, Hybrid Schedule (2 days on-site)Salary: $35-$40 per hourJob Type: Contract (3 months)Join a dynamic public-sector legal support organization where you'll play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR operations across payroll, recruitment, and HR systems during a critical transition period.Key Responsibilities:- Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure timely updates related to benefits, union dues, and entitlement changes- Support full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and employment agreements- Prepare and update HR documents including offer letters, entitlement calculations, and benefit enrolments- Maintain and update HR records and personnel files, assisting in a digital records conversion project- Perform data entry and reporting tasks in the HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce), ensuring data accuracy and compliance- Collaborate with the Manager of HR & Labour Relations on employee communications, training coordination, and ad hoc projectsQualifications:- Post-secondary degree in HR or related field- 2 years in HR, with payroll and recruitment experience- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus- CHRP designation or in progress is an assetPlease send your resume in Word format to Meghan Melanson at meghan.melanson@quantum.ca.REFER AND EARN A $50 GIFT CARD!
