Job Description

Lead Software Engineer, AI & DevOps Transformation Act-3D is seeking a talented and proactive Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the AI transformation of our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This is a pivotal role that goes beyond traditional full-stack development, offering a unique opportunity to fundamentally reshape how our teams build software through the strategic implementation of AI. We are looking for a visionary engineer who will be responsible for architecting a comprehensive, AI-assisted SDLC. Your Role Operating at the intersection of hands-on development and strategic leadership, you will architect and implement a complete AI-assisted development ecosystem. This involves introducing new technologies while fostering a corporate culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Main Responsibilities: Lead the AI Transformation: Design, implement, and drive the adoption of a complete, end-to-end AI-assisted SDLC within our development pipelines. Implement MLOps: Build a scalable MLOps framework that enables the organization-wide adoption of AI-assisted workflows. Core Full-Stack Development: Maintain and develop our .NET-based APIs, React user interfaces, and cloud infrastructure, applying AI-driven insights to enhance our products. Technology Integration: Identify, evaluate, and integrate advanced AI development tools into our existing CI/CD pipelines. Cross-Functional AI Enablement: Serve as the subject matter expert on AI, collaborating across departments to identify and implement operational efficiencies. Strategic Mentorship: Mentor engineering staff on the effective use of AI tools and contribute to our high-level technology strategy. What You Bring to the Table: Proven Full-Stack Proficiency: A minimum of five years of experience as a Fullstack .NET Software Engineer, with strong proficiency in C#, the .NET ecosystem, React, TypeScript, and Node.js. AI & Machine Learning Credentials: Verifiable professional experience or a relevant educational background in AI/ML, with a particular focus on its application within the SDLC. Proficiency in MLOps: A strong understanding of MLOps principles coupled with the ambition to apply them at an organizational scale. Leadership and Proactivity: A motivated, self-directed disposition, with the proven ability to manage projects independently and inspire teams to adopt new paradigms. Cloud and DevOps Competency: Substantial experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a firm grasp of CI/CD best practices. Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline. On-Site Presence: This is a hands-on, collaborative leadership role that requires you to work from our Sassenheim headquarters 3-4 days a week.
