Job Description
Do you want to combine international travel with sales and account management? As Account Manager Export at Favorite Gifts, you are responsible for generating new business and managing existing key accounts across Europe. You’ll be travelling multiple times per month to visit clients, build relationships and represent our brand at the highest level. You work closely with our International Sales Director and a team of Inside Account Managers. You are the face of Giving Europe B.V. abroad, you listen to customer needs, give commercial advice, negotiate deals and ensure smooth follow-up with internal teams. This is a role for someone who thrives on freedom, ownership, and variety. Every day is different from the day before. One day you’re pitching to a new customer, the next you’re strengthening long-term relationships or closing a deal at a trade fair. This is you: You have 3–5 years of experience in sales and customer relations. You are motivated, eager to grow and develop yourself. You speak and write English fluently (Dutch is not required). You love to travel and build international relationships. You’re flexible, independent, persuasive, and results-driven. This is what we offer: A challenging and autonomous role for 40 hours per week. A competitive base salary between €3.496 – €4.100 per month (based on fulltime), plus a performance-based bonus structure. 30 vacation days and 8.5% holiday allowance, paid in May. Your responsibilities: Identify leads and develop new business in various European markets. Conduct client visits, present solutions and close commercial deals. Build long-term partnerships with existing accounts (A-customers). Manage contracts and ensure follow-up of agreements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Represent Giving Europe B.V. at trade shows and events across Europe. Maintain and share up-to-date market and product knowledge. This is your team: You’ll be working from our head office in Tiel , alongside a driven and international sales team. You report directly to Lorrene, our International Sales Director. You’ll collaborate daily with other Account Managers and colleagues from different departments to deliver the best service to our clients. Here’s what you bring: A completed education is a plus, but not required. Experience matters more. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in international sales or business development. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel across Europe several times per month. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
