Sales Manager

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for food ingredients and a strong knowledge of the Benelux market ? Do you enjoy building long-term customer relationships and driving growth in a fast-paced, international environment? A leading global player in the food ingredients space is looking for a Sales Manager to join their expanding , based out of Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to combine commercial flair with a hands-on approach to customer engagement across the Benelux region. What You’ll Be Doing: Take ownership of a portfolio of key customers across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg – supporting them with high-quality spice solutions. Work closely with food manufacturers, flavour houses, and ingredient distributors to understand their needs and offer tailored, value-adding solutions. Drive new business development while nurturing and growing existing accounts. Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, product development, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service and product delivery. Stay ahead of market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to help shape commercial strategy. Regular travel across the Benelux region to meet customers and attend key meetings. What We’re Looking For: Solid B2B sales experience, ideally within food ingredients, flavours, or spices. Strong understanding of the Benelux region and experience managing accounts across these markets. Excellent relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset. Confident communicator who can build rapport with technical and commercial teams alike. A proactive, hands-on approach – someone who enjoys taking ownership and getting stuck in. Fluent in English (Dutch or French is a real advantage). Willingness to travel within the region regularly.
