Data Center Project Manager

Datacenter People are currently recruiting a Project Manager for one of the fastest growing Colocation Data Center Operators in Europe. Many of their locations are under development due to the upgrade of the site or expansion of the power capacity. They are also developing newly acquired greenfield sites and are looking for someone to help drive these projects. You will be involved in projects from project definition stage and technical design stages to construction phase and delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable setting up new project developments form concept to scoping these into concrete projects, and reside in the Netherlands with a work permit for the EU. Experience Required 5-10 years work experience in leading datacenter development projects, pharmaceutical, hospital hot floors, marine or other mission critical installation industry. Previous experience with datacenters is preferred. A B.Sc. or M.Sc. educated engineer. Knowledgeable in MS Office, Visio and document management systems (like ACC). Understands designing in BIM-models (AutoCAD, Revit and other and Autodesk applications) based on IFC and ILS. Professional proficiency in English, with proficiency in Dutch, German or French would be beneficial. Candidates who have experience in sustainability engineering have an advantage.
