Job Description

Pega Senior System Architect Location: Tilburg - 2-3 Days per week Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance Duration: 6 Months (Extension Possible) Rate: €600 PER DAY Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect to join a high-profile project for a Dutch government organization . The role focuses on architectural development , solution quality , and continuous improvement within the context of the Rijkszaak platform . This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering impactful solutions in the public sector using Pega technologies . Key Responsibilities Architecture Development and Management Implement and ensure compliance with the architectural guidelines of Rijkszaak . Monitor and uphold architecture standards , ensuring improved solution quality and Pega compliance . Oversee system integration , managing necessary dependencies and environments. Leadership and Coordination Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams , stakeholders , and product owners to align on project objectives and milestones. Provide technical leadership and guidance across delivery teams. Innovation and Improvement Proactively identify and implement best practices and innovative technologies to improve project efficiency , delivery speed , and solution quality . Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend necessary technical adjustments or process improvements . Documentation and Quality Assurance Manage and maintain technical documentation , architectural guidelines , and best practice references . Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure application reliability , performance , and maintainability . Required Skills & Experience Higher professional education ( HBO ) or university level (WO) in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or related fields. Master’s degree in a relevant subject. Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) . TMap® Certified and/or ISTQB® Certified in software testing. Completed the full Constellation Adoption track – Pega Academy (all modules) . Completed Low-Code App Builder track – Pega Academy (all modules) . Minimum 3 years of experience in Pega development for Dutch clients . Minimum 2 years of experience working within Dutch government organizations . Minimum 3 years of experience testing Pega applications . Minimum 3 years working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments . Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of the Groningen Damage dossier . Experience with data modeling . Experience in Pega unit testing . Knowledge of DevOps and Pega management tools . Background in developing damage regulations and technical solutions . Familiarity with Jira and Confluence . Certified REACT Developer .
