Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician / Engineer required in Leicester. Aerospace manufacturer, part of a global group, who make engine components, offering great prospects. 3 x shifts (no weekends), days whilst training. 37 hours per week. £46K - £50K salary Bonus, Overtime available. Youll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by responding to breakdowns, leading preventative maintenance efforts, and driving continuous improvement across the facility. Maintenance Technician - the role: Respond to machine breakdowns and facility issues with professionalism and urgency Develop and support preventative maintenance schedules Contribute to safety initiatives and facility improvement projects Work both independently and collaboratively in a shift-based team Liaise with contractors while ensuring compliance with site policies Requirements for Maintenance Technician: Essential: Strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with CNC machinery Knowledge of drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills Desirable: 18th Edition wiring regulations Mechanical skills (e.g., spindle rebuilds, bearing replacements) Relevant formal qualification in maintenance (preferred but not required) Hours 37-hours per week - 3 shift pattern (morning, afternoon and night rotation) AM Shift: MonThurs 5:4513:45, Fri 5:4510:45 PM Shift: MonThurs 13:4521:45, Fri 10:4515:45 Night Shift: MonThurs 21:4505:45, Fri 15:4520:45 Holidays 26 days floating 7 statutory days Overtime Overtime available and paid in line with agreed rates Please note: This company cannot support sponsorship at this time.
