Are you a nurturing, patient, and compassionate individual with a passion for making a difference? Prospero Teaching is seeking to appoint dedicated tutors in Romsey and surrounding areas. Tutors will be required to support young people of secondary school age with English, Maths and Science. Tutors with experience of working with learners with SEN, EAL, SEMH and additional needs are encouraged to apply. As a Tutor, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Record student progress and report on this weekly. Be understanding, empathetic and patient. Record attendance. Be organised, dependable and creative. About you: Nurturing and caring nature Patient, kind and understanding Strong understanding of the National Curriculum Organised Comfortable to support secondary aged pupils with English, Maths and Science Have experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs. Position - Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Part-time Hours - Varied Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
