We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor / Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims to lead in-court collections and potentially open their own boutique legal firm in Italy. Responsibilities include filing court cases to recover compensation and Out-of-Pocket Expenses, handling EU261 / UK261 claims, and potentially escalating cases to influence legal changes or PR opportunities. Requirements A valid solicitor’s license and legal insurance. A law degree from an accredited institution. Experience with small claims, consumer rights, or aviation law is a plus but not required. Knowledge of relevant consumer protection laws and aviation regulations is a plus but not required. Proven successful in-court collection experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and case management skills. Experience in automating claims management processes. Responsibilities Preparing and filing court cases against airlines, responding to legal defenses. Enforcing court decisions if necessary. Conducting legal research and developing best practices. Negotiating settlements. Maintaining detailed case records and ensuring compliance. Staying updated on legal developments. Testing AI solutions and process improvements. Being honest, responsible, and proactive. Delivering results and managing multiple projects. Working independently and communicating effectively.
