Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes: Represent the company and own the relationship with suppliers. Determine root causes of supplier manufacturing problems and lead the implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions. Manage supplier crises with on-site support within 24 hours when required. Ensure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements. Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity using the Run at Rate workbook. Improve the quality performance of suppliers by running workshops at supplier sites and assisting suppliers in developing robust quality systems. Qualifications: University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Specializations: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical, industrial processes. At least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in Automotive Purchasing / Supplier Quality or Engineering. Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, tooling, equipment, and facilities. Demonstrated knowledge of statistical quality control, probability, and design of experiments. Understanding of commodity structures and processes. Knowledge of quality management and value analysis. Proficiency in MS Office. Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, initiative, teamwork, social and intercultural skills. High interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate teams.
