Senior Transport Specialist

Permanent employee, Full-time The Role and Your Impact As a Senior Transport & Supply Chain Specialist , you’ll play a key role in shaping and managing our transport logistics and supply chain operations. You’ll work cross-functionally to drive cost efficiency, streamline operations, and ensure we deliver on time, every time. Transport and Supply Chain Management Develop and implement transport and supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor and analyze key logistics metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure operational excellence. Align transportation strategies with overall supply chain objectives by collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. Vendor and Carrier Coordination Negotiate and manage long-term contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure competitive pricing and service quality. Establish and track KPIs to evaluate and improve vendor and carrier performance. Proactively resolve logistics issues including cross-border challenges, supply chain disruptions, and risk scenarios. Build strategic partnerships with logistics providers to enhance capacity planning and delivery reliability. Documentation and Planning Oversee accurate and compliant documentation, including freight bills, manifests, and customs records. Prepare high-level transport performance and cost efficiency reports for senior leadership. Lead transport forecasting aligned with business growth and demand trends. Implement best practices in document handling and regulatory compliance. You’ll Fit Great With These Skills and Qualifications Education & Experience 5 years of experience in transport logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and experience using JIRA and Notion. Solid understanding of import/export and customs regulations. Skills & Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive and highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working independently and taking initiative. Detail-oriented with a structured and accurate approach to work. Strong decision-making skills and a calm, professional attitude under pressure. Results-driven with a focus on productivity and execution. Language & Location Fluent in both English and Polish.
