Job Description

Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain includes avionics, navigation, and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies, and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products and for non-Radar Surveillance Products. Job Objectives Perform sales and order administration activities: quotations, pricing, order management, draft invoicing, materialization, and loading specifications into ERP. Understand and qualify internal and external customer requests. Dispatch requests within Thales to appropriate teams. Manage purchase and contract requests, ensuring key milestones are processed and completed on time. Key Responsibilities Book and verify customer orders against data recorded in ERP. Verify customer orders against Thales quotes or contracts. Update the sales plan in coordination with FIN and PM teams. Update the sales & operations plan (S&OP) with the PM, FIN, and sales teams. Update customer data in the ERP (delivery address, bank details, contracts). Monitor order status and need-by dates. Maintain customer database, sales contracts, and main registries. Manage and track receivables and overdue payments in coordination with PMs and Finance. Manage and track Goods Receipts for non-coded items to ensure prompt supplier payments. Prepare and manage Minutes of Meetings for the A2 Monthly Reviews. Prepare draft invoices following Italian/EU/World fiscal rules. Support delivery and export documentation complying with export and customs regulations, especially for military equipment. Support financial contract clauses, e.g., Letter of Credit. Issue and follow-up on customer invoices, including complaint management. Collaborate with Finance to resolve invoice and cash management issues and generate reports. Collaborate with Finance to monitor stock value and generate reports. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Junior/Mid-level position with 2-4 years of experience. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems like OCM, SAP. High School Diploma (Diploma Perito Commerciale - Ragioneria); a Bachelor's Degree in Economics or equivalent is a plus. Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
