About the job The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer will contribute to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial. Responsibilities Innovative Solutions: Develop groundbreaking projects using agile methods and new technologies. Scalability: Ensure backend responsiveness and real-time performance to support growth. Security: Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data. Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain applications is required. Familiarity with modular architecture for scalable applications and developing complex platforms and APIs is important. Quick Learner : Ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies. Security Awareness : Strong understanding of security best practices. Nice to have High-Availability Concepts: Experience with system reliability practices. Additional Programming Skills: Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ is advantageous. Experience with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
