Sales Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Social network you want to login/join with: For our Business Unit Transformers, we are looking for a Sales Support Specialist whose main responsibilities will be to support the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of demanding offers. How you’ll make an impact Provide technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations, and offer product/solution/service-related training. Prepare/support the preparation of technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications, and Sales directives. Participate in project kick-off meetings. Define costs for proposed solutions and communicate them to the Sales organization. Provide information for the risk review process in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy and participate in risk assessments when needed. Analyze customer needs and competitor offers using market information and data provided by the team. Perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential causes, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales and the Local Business Unit to improve results. Your background 3-5 years of experience in sales within a similar industry in an international environment. Technical background; an Engineering degree is preferred. Previous experience with electric substation equipment; client-facing experience presenting transformer solutions is a plus. Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience managing complex customers is a plus. Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
