MARKETING ASSISTANT

*6 Month contract with possibility of making a permanent position* Key Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing & Campaign Management: Collaborate on the comprehensive planning and execution of marketing strategies across the South African market. Serve as the primary liaison with external suppliers and clients, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the effective implementation of marketing plans. Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between agencies, clients, and internal teams, including our factories in Brazil. Marketing Content & Brand Visuals: Lead the creation and layout of Tramontina Africa marketing materials, including high-quality artworks, presentations, leaflets, and digital assets. Develop compelling visual proposals that consistently embody Tramontina's brand vision, values, and product messaging. Market Intelligence & Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and gather commercial and marketing feedback from clients and the general market. Identify market gaps and propose strategic actions for management evaluation, aiming to enhance and maintain the companys competitive edge. Analyze, measure, and report on the results of marketing and commercial activities, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. Client & Market Engagement: Conduct market and client visits as required, to assess the effectiveness of executed marketing plans and collaborate on future marketing initiatives. Candidate Profile & Qualifications: Key Skills & Attributes: Creative with strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to produce diverse designs across materials. Skilled in planning and executing marketing strategies for varied clients and cultures. Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills. Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette. Proactive, able to work independently or in teams, and committed to continuous improvement. Open-minded and culturally sensitive. Aligned with company values and committed to long-term growth. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Design, or related field. Fluent in English. Portuguese is beneficial. Proficient in Microsoft Office and graphic design software (Photoshop and/or Illustrator). Design or layout experience is a plus.
