Sr Project Manager - 00939

Our crown corporation client is seeking a Sr Project Manager - 00939 Initially a 12-months contract. Weekly hybrid work model in North Vancouver or Victoria (2 days/week including Thursdays as mandatory). 40 hours/week. Must Have • 7 years as Project Manager • Experience working in partnership with vendors; vendor management • Proven ability to work and communicate with all levels of management, with particular experience with senior management and executive levels • Understanding of technical implementations and ability to work with technical resources • Strong team management capabilities • Strong communication and people management skills Key Job Accountabilities and Responsibilities: • Implementation project to ensure the work meets key business objectives and is completed on time within budget; • Manage team of employees/contractors; • Manage project scope in collaboration with business stakeholders; • Create project plans, project schedules, budgets, etc. and monitor against targets; produce variance reporting and explanations • Actively manage project risks and issues, identify/initiate corrective action where required; conduct monthly risk assessments and report on risks and issues; • Maintain progress measures and deliver status reporting; • Ensure maximum efficiency in allocation of skills and resources within the project; maintain resource plans and forecasts for the project; • Work collaboratively with the extended project team and key stakeholders • Liaise and ensure adequate communication with project sponsors, business, stakeholders and the project team • Manage dependencies between assigned project and other projects Deliverables include but are not limited to: • Project Charter • Project Status reports • Estimates • Project Plan • Resource Plan • Risk/Issue/Decision Logs • Executive Presentations Apply
