We are looking for a full-time Design & Construction Project Manager for EMEA North Dufry and Autogrill agreed to combine their businesses to become Avolta the Worlds' Leading Travel Experience Player. About the Role: The Project Manager Design & Construction works for Design & Construction department which is part of the IT & Facilities International. This role will lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific building project from business case to handing over to Operations department to secure delivery of a safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative Food&Beverage unit based on business needs within the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the projects in relating to design and construction. Both new build or remodeling projects. Manage all stakeholder communication on both internal and external, such as landlord, consultants, contractors and suppliers. Initiate and manage third parties/vendor related to design and construction. Manage and report project to key stakeholders Administrate all projects budget/invoicing, contracts, tenders, etc. Achieve objectives as annually agreed upon. Improve standing procedures and ways of working in close coordination with Design & Construction Manager EMEA. Implement solid project controls such as: Budget, Time, risk, tendering, design, documentation and stakeholder management. Set up sound handing over process to Operations department. Working in partnership with Facility Management in all the phases of the project to prepare the maintenance and support for the operational phase. Strong focus for the total cost of ownership between build and maintenance / operating phase. Your Experience Minimum Technical HBO Degree such as Engineering (Bouwkunde) or similar international level Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in project management in both architectural/design projects as well as Construction and Interior build projects. Quality management in construction: Knowledge of internal requirements, methods and tools to set up and secure quality during design and construction work throughout the project development and during the warranty period (post-project) Sustainable construction: Knowledge about LEED and/or BREEAM including evaluation of low impact construction materials Construction HSE (Health, Safety and Environment): Knowledge of how to create a safe construction site and environment for all the site people that is compliant with HMSHost policy and national safety and environment standards. Experience with Cooling in HVAC installations and regulations Strong knowledge of IT systems as Microsoft Application including MS project, AutoCAD. Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) application and process. Preferably experience in food and beverage operations or projects. Excellent communication & management skills and team building skills. Experienced in all level reporting, written and verbally in Dutch and English. Capacity to manage multiple projects in different countries whose budgets span from 10 kEur to 2000 kEur. Willing to travel across Europe Flexible, hands-on and no 9-5 mentality.
